Dr. Moy Cuevas

My full name is Moises Marco Antonio Cuevas Ramirez (aka Dr. Moy) and I was born in Mexico City but raised in the beautiful city of Queretaro.

I was trained as a Paramedic in 1998, forming part of the group “Enlace Medico Asistencia IAP” for 2 years earning the recognition as “Cadet of the Year” and obtained the PHTLS (Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support ) certificate.

I later went back to Mexico city in 1999 and studied medicine for 5 years at the “National Autonomous University  of Mexico” (UNAM), making one additional year of internship in the Hospital “Gabriel Mancera” of the IMSS and making an additional year of medical social service in the community of Contitlan in the state of Zacatecas, getting then my full degree in 2006.

From 2006 to 2008 I worked at the medical company “Travel Medical Service” in Nuevo Vallarta, providing consultation to prestigious hotels like “Grand Velas”, “Villa del Palmar Flamingos” and “Meliá Vallarta” and at that time they opened a tourist medical service here in Sayulita.

When arriving to Sayulita for the first time I noticed immediatly the need for a more human and professional medical service with full accesibility for local residents as well as visitors, and that’s why we decided to move here and opened “Sayulita Doctor” office in November of 2008.

Our vision is to make a social change in Sayulita through our services because we are convinced that the individual’s health has a full impact in the community’s health and we want to build a community whose ethic is that everyone takes care of each other.

Paulina Martinez, Ch

Dr. Paulina Martinez

My name is Paulina Martinez and I was born in the city of Orizaba, Veracruz

I made the career of Bachelor of Education with a major in non-formal education at the Iberoamerican University (UIA) at the Puebla campus, getting my degree with honors in July of 2003.

During this time I had the opportunity to participate in various programs with abandoned and disabled children, and because of that I studied a course in Shantala baby massage in 2002 adding reflexology in the city of Orizaba one year later.

I got so interested in alternative ways of healing that I studied Chiropractic in the city of Zacatecas, obtaining my degree in May 2006 and afterwards founding “PAMYA – Internal Harmony” clinic in the city of Orizaba, offering the chiropractic and massage service.

I moved to Sayulita and since then, I have developed professionally in the health area and at this moment I am studying the career to become a Paramedic at the University of Bahia de Banderas, with the aim of providing a more integral and professional service in Sayulita Doctor.
